Description
Product Introduction
This 1-1/4 “(32mm) Forstner Bit produced by VANGUARD INDUSTRIAL, also known as the 32mm woodworking flat wing drilling tool, is a high-precision woodworking specific drilling bit:
Core parameters: The opening diameter is standard 32mm, and the overall structure is made of high hardness alloy steel. The head is designed with a central positioning tip and multiple sets of cutting edges, which can drill precise circular holes with smooth edges and flat bottoms on wood, suitable for the clamping positions of most hand drills and bench drills.
Performance features: Its positioning tip can firmly lock the drilling position, without the problem of drill bit slipping and deviation, ensuring hole accuracy even when working on curved wood or spliced boards; The cutting edge is precision polished to ensure smooth chip removal, and it is not prone to burrs or cracks during the drilling process. Compared with ordinary hole openers, it can achieve deeper blind hole processing and is a commonly used professional tool for 32mm standard system drilling, hinge installation holes, and wooden hollow processing in panel furniture.
🛠️ Usage
Preparation in advance
Mark the accurate drilling position on the surface of the wood to be processed in advance, fix the board to avoid shaking during operation, check that the cutting edge of the drill is free of defects or deformations, clean up debris and protrusions on the surface of the wood, and ensure that the processing surface is flat.
Installation and debugging
Fully insert the handle of the drill bit into the drill chuck and lock it. Start the machine and run it without load for 1 minute to confirm that the sound of the drill is uniform and there is no abnormal shaking. Adjust the speed according to the hardness of the wood: it is recommended to choose a low speed for hardwood, and increase the speed appropriately for cork to improve efficiency.
Drilling operation
Align the center positioning tip of the drill bit with the marked point, keep the drill bit completely perpendicular to the surface of the wood, start the electric drill smoothly, apply axial pressure evenly and slowly, and gradually cut the cutting edge into the wood; If drilling deep holes, the drill bit can be intermittently lifted to discharge wood chips to avoid overheating and annealing of the drill bit.
Closing operation
After drilling is completed, do not immediately release the press. Wait for the drill bit to completely stop rotating before removing it. Wait for the drill bit to cool naturally before storing it. Do not touch the cutting edge directly after finishing the operation to avoid burns.
