The reflective brightness far surpasses ordinary reflective markings, allowing clear identification of the signage from hundreds of meters away under nighttime vehicle lighting, significantly enhancing the rear visibility of long, heavy-duty vehicles.
The base is made of high-strength aluminum plates, offering excellent impact resistance and corrosion resistance. Paired with the superior weather resistance of the 3M reflective layer, it can operate stably for extended periods in extreme outdoor environments ranging from -30°C to 80°C. Prolonged exposure to sunlight and rain will not cause fading, deformation, or reflective failure, significantly extending its service life compared to conventional sticker-based reflective signs.
Designed specifically for long-vehicle types such as semi-trailers and trucks with cargo bays exceeding 8 meters in length, this device serves to clearly indicate to following vehicles that an extended-length vehicle is in motion. It alerts rear vehicles to maintain adequate following distance in advance, avoiding blind spots during overtaking and preventing severe traffic accidents like rear-end collisions or scrapes caused by insufficient anticipation. The design fully complies with the rear safety marking installation standards for long-body heavy-duty vehicles.
🛠️ Usage Instructions
Pre-installation: Select a suitable working environment with temperatures between 10°C and 38°C. Thoroughly clean the surface oil, rust, and dust at the preset installation position on the vehicle’s rear, ensuring the mounting surface is smooth and dry to prevent impurities from affecting the fastening strength.
Fixed Installation: The sign is an aluminum hard signboard, primarily secured by screws/ rivets through pre-drilled holes. Double-sided tape or wire binding is not recommended. Ensure the signboard is level, properly oriented directly behind the vehicle, with an installation angle deviation not exceeding 5°.
Compliance Verification: Confirm that the installation position of the sign does not obstruct the rear lights, license plate, or other signal components of the vehicle. The lower edge of the sign must be no less than 400mm above the ground, while the upper edge height should be maintained within the range of 1500mm to 2100mm, meeting the signage installation requirements for long-body heavy-duty vehicles.
Routine Maintenance: Regularly clean dust and stains from the surface of the signage to prevent coverage of the reflective layer, which reduces visibility. During daily inspections, if any signs of deformation, reflective layer wear, or blurred content are detected, promptly replace the signage with new ones to ensure continuous warning effectiveness.
