Description

Accurately measure the size of the door gap to match the corresponding specifications. The specific operation method is as follows:
Multi point measurement takes the maximum value
Use a tape measure or ruler to press against the door gap, and read the millimeter values of the gap at the upper, middle, and lower positions of the door frame. Take the maximum value as the selection basis to avoid air leakage caused by excessive local gaps.
Coin assisted rapid estimation
When there is no ruler at hand, use a 1 yuan coin with a thickness of about 2mm to insert into the door gap, and quickly estimate the gap width by inserting the number of coins. For example, if 3 coins can be inserted, the gap is about 6mm.
Auxiliary verification method
Insert thin paper into the door gap and close the door tightly. Pull the paper to the position where there is obvious resistance, and the corresponding gap width will be more accurate, which can assist in confirming the measurement results.
