Product Introduction
This 02061-07007 model 6.4 * 12mm steel rivet produced by VANGUARD INDUSTRIAL is a high-strength ring groove rivet (Huck rivet) type fastener:
Core parameters: nominal diameter 6.4mm, suitable for riveting with a total thickness range of up to 12mm. The whole set includes a steel nail rod with a semi-circular head and a matching steel lock ring. The overall material is made of high-strength steel, with excellent shear and tensile properties. After the connection is completed, the lock ring will firmly fit into the circular groove of the nail rod, forming a permanent and rigid connection without looseness.
Performance characteristics: Compared with ordinary solid rivets, it has higher connection strength, extremely strong anti vibration and anti loosening ability. During the riveting process, there will be no bending or uneven forming of the rivet rod like ordinary rivets. The riveting consistency is good, and it can maintain long-term connection reliability under heavy load and high-frequency vibration conditions.

🛠️ Usage
Preparation in advance
Drill a matching through hole on the workpiece to be connected based on the nominal diameter of the rivet 6.4mm, with a hole diameter controlled at around 6.5-6.6mm. Clean the burrs and debris in the hole, confirm that the workpiece to be connected fits without gaps, and securely fix the workpiece.
Pre installed alignment
Insert the rivet rod into the through-hole from one side of the workpiece, and fit the matching steel locking ring onto the annular groove section of the rivet rod extending from the workpiece, ensuring that the locking ring fits the surface of the workpiece and the rivet rod is perpendicular to the workpiece end face.
Riveting operation
Use a specialized ring groove rivet gun of the corresponding specification, align the gun head with the exposed tail of the nail rod, start the rivet gun to pull the nail rod, and under the pulling force, the locking ring will undergo plastic deformation and be tightly embedded in the annular groove of the nail rod. When the pulling force reaches the set threshold, the nail rod will break neatly at the preset neck position, completing high-strength locking in one go.
Completion inspection
After riveting, check that the locking ring is fully inserted into the nail groove without any looseness or displacement. Confirm that the riveting end face is flat and free of protruding deformation, and the entire connection operation can be completed. The connection can be directly put into heavy-duty use without additional reinforcement treatment.
