Structural characteristics: It adds an extended flange edge on the basis of a regular all steel lock ring, and is a high-strength galvanized steel part formed as a whole. The surface is treated with rust prevention and hardening, and the inner wall is smooth without burrs. The overall structure is dense and uniform, retaining excellent plastic deformation ability while greatly improving the pressure contact area through the flange edge.
Functional advantages: Compared with ordinary flange free locking rings, it can disperse the squeezing force during riveting, avoid damaging the surface of the workpiece during the locking process, and effectively prevent the locking ring from getting stuck inside the soft workpiece plate, greatly improving the connection stability under high load conditions. The shear resistance, tensile resistance, and anti loosening performance are further strengthened.
Applicable scenarios: Widely applicable to rail transit, heavy engineering machinery, heavy-duty vehicles, steel structure engineering and other working conditions that require high reliability anti loosening connections, especially suitable for riveting scenarios of low hardness workpieces such as aluminum plates and thin-walled plates. Pre installed alignment
Insert the locking ring smoothly into the annular groove section of the corresponding specification of the ring groove rivet rod, so that the flange edge is completely in contact with the surface of the workpiece to be riveted, and the rivet rod is kept perpendicular to the end face of the workpiece to avoid the locking ring tilting and affecting the subsequent riveting effect.
Riveting operation
Using a ring groove rivet gun that is compatible with the specifications, align the gun head with the tail of the rivet rod. After starting the rivet gun, under the action of axial tension, the cylinder section of the locking ring will undergo uniform plastic cold deformation, fully embedded in the annular groove of the rivet rod, until the rivet rod is neatly broken at the preset neck position, completing the locking.
Completion inspection
After riveting, visually inspect that the locking ring is fully inserted into the nail groove, the flange edge is tightly attached to the workpiece surface without any raised edges, and the locking ring is not cracked or deformed. After confirming that there is no looseness, high-strength permanent fastening can be completed without the need for additional gaskets or nuts for reinforcement.
