Preparation in advance
Confirm that the pre opening size of the panel to be installed is compatible with a 5/16 inch screw, prepare the corresponding UNC standard matching nut, clean the dust and oil around the opening in advance, ensure that the installation contact surface is clean and dry, check that the sealing cushion layer of the bolt is not damaged, and that the blue anti loosening coating at the thread is not detached or damaged.
Installation operation
Align the bolt with the opening on the outside of the panel and thread it through. The rolled structure at the head will automatically lock into the panel to prevent rotation, without the need for additional fixing screws. Align the matching nut manually on the other side and pre tighten it, keeping the direction of force and the axis of the screw perpendicular to the surface of the panel. Tighten it evenly until the sealing cushion layer is moderately compacted and the head fully adheres to the surface of the panel. There is no need to apply excessive force to compress the cushion layer to avoid deformation and failure of the cushion layer, which will affect the sealing and anti loosening effect.
Precautions
This product is a UNC standard thread in the American system and cannot be mixed with metric screws and nuts of the same diameter, otherwise there may be problems such as thread misalignment, slipping, and even connection failure; After installation, let it stand for a moment to allow the anti loosening adhesive layer to fully adhere and solidify. The subsequent vibration during equipment operation will further fill the threaded gaps with the adhesive layer, achieving long-term anti loosening.
