Description
Equipped with 3M high-grade HIP super prism reflective technology and a lightweight, high-strength aluminum base, the bright yellow identification surface features bold black “ROADTRAIN” lettering. The reflective brightness far surpasses ordinary reflective markings, allowing clear identification of the signage content from hundreds of meters away under nighttime vehicle headlights, significantly enhancing the rear visibility of long-haul heavy-duty road trains with multiple trailers.
Aluminum sheets exhibit excellent impact resistance and rust resistance. Combined with the weather-resistant properties of the 3M reflective layer, they can operate stably in extreme environments ranging from -30°C to 80°C. Even after years of outdoor exposure to sunlight and rain, they remain free from fading, deformation, or reflective failure, with a service life far exceeding that of ordinary sticker-based reflective signs.
Specifically designed for multi-trailer heavy-duty road trains in regions such as Australia, this device is used to clearly indicate to following vehicles that the current traffic is an oversized combined heavy-duty vehicle. It alerts rear vehicles to maintain a sufficient following distance in advance, preventing severe accidents like rear-end collisions or overtaking scrapes caused by insufficient anticipation. It fully complies with the installation standards for rear markings on heavy-duty long-body vehicles.
🛠️ Usage Instructions
Installation Preprocessing: Select a suitable working environment at 10°C to 38°C. Thoroughly remove oil stains, rust, and dust from the preset installation surface at the rear of the vehicle. Ensure the installation surface is smooth and dry to prevent impurities from affecting the fastening strength.
Fixed Installation: This sign is an aluminum hard signboard, preferably secured via screws/ rivets through pre-drilled holes. Double-sided tape or wire binding is strictly prohibited. Ensure the signboard is level and properly oriented directly behind the vehicle, with an installation angle deviation not exceeding 5°.
Compliance Verification: Confirm that the installation position of the marking does not obstruct the vehicle’s taillights, license plate, or other signal components. The lower edge of the marking must be no less than 400mm above the ground, while the upper edge height should be maintained within the range of 1500mm to 2100mm, fully meeting the tail marking installation requirements for heavy-duty long-body vehicles.
**Routine Maintenance**: Regularly clean dust and stains from the surface of the signage to prevent coverage of the reflective layer, which may reduce visibility. During daily inspections, if any deformation, wear of the reflective layer, or blurring of the signage content is observed, promptly replace the signage with a new one to ensure continuous warning effectiveness.
