The complete installation steps are as follows:
1、 Preparation before installation
First, check the overall dimensions of the protective fence against the vehicle chassis structure, confirm the installation space that fits the side of the vehicle body, clean the oil, rust, and debris from the chassis installation position, and ensure that the installation base is flat and free of protrusions.
Prepare wrenches, level gauges, tape measures, high-strength fastening bolts of corresponding specifications, and count all accessories such as adjustable installation hangers and aluminum alloy main frames that come with the product to confirm that there are no missing parts or deformation issues.
2、 Positioning and pre fixation
According to the national standard requirements, mark the installation points: ensure that the lower edge of the protective fence is no more than 55cm above the ground, the upper edge is no more than 35cm from the lowest end of the carriage, and the distance between the front and rear ends of the protective fence and the outermost edge of the front and rear tires is no more than 30cm. At the same time, confirm that the distance between the horizontal bars is no more than 300mm.
Pre hang the two multi hole adjustable hangers on the reserved installation holes on the chassis, without locking the bolts temporarily, leaving room for fine-tuning to facilitate subsequent calibration of the position.
3、 Framework assembly and calibration
Lift the aluminum alloy main frame to the corresponding installation position of the hanger, align the connection holes of the frame with the multiple holes of the hanger, thread the fastening bolts and preliminarily tighten them.
Use a spirit level to calibrate the overall flatness of the frame, while adjusting the installation height of the two hangers to ensure that the protective fence is parallel to the side of the vehicle, without any tilting or excessive protrusion of the vehicle. After confirming that all spacing parameters fully meet the compliance requirements, lock all bolts in sequence.
Check the front edge arc structure of the protective fence to confirm that it meets the design requirements for inward bending protection and has no sharp exposed corners.
4、 Completion verification
Manually push and pull the protective fence as a whole, confirm that there is no shaking or looseness, and all locking components are fully tightened.
Re check whether all installation dimensions comply with the relevant specifications of GB 7258, confirm that they fully meet the compliance requirements for vehicle annual inspection and road use, and avoid any impact on vehicle management business due to non-compliance with installation standards in the future.
