Description
1. Core parameters
The thread length of the lock core is 27mm, suitable for doors with a thickness of less than 20mm. The common materials are zinc alloy or stainless steel, and the surface is treated with chrome/nickel plating for rust prevention.
The standard configuration includes a rotatable cam lock tongue, which can lock the door body after rotation. It supports the configuration of an open key or an independent mutual open key.
2. Adaptation scenarios
Widely used in distribution boxes, storage cabinets, mailboxes, glass display cabinets, industrial equipment doors, and some cold storage doors will also choose heavy-duty models of this size to ensure sealing and locking effects.
1、 Preparation work
Tools and materials: Prepare a Phillips screwdriver, a 2mm hex wrench, and confirm that the lock, matching screws, and cam plate accessories are complete.
Pre inspection: Confirm that the diameter of the door opening is compatible with the 27mm lock cylinder, and that the door thickness is within 20mm. Clean the installation area of the door panel in advance.
2、 Core installation steps
Remove the original door lock panel and insert the 27mm lock cylinder into the reserved hole on the door panel from the outside.
Install a fixing nut on the inside of the door panel, pre tighten it by hand, and tighten it with a tool to ensure that the lock body does not shake.
Align the rear slot of the lock cylinder and insert the cam plate, then tighten and fix it with the accompanying M4 self tapping screw.
Repeatedly test the switch with the key to confirm that the cam rotates smoothly and the lock tongue can fully engage the door frame lock hole.
3、 Debugging and Closing
If the door gap is uneven, the cam extension can be fine tuned by adjusting the screw on the side, with a change of 0.5mm in extension per rotation.
After installation, apply a small amount of lubricating oil to the keyhole of the lock cylinder to ensure long-term smooth opening and closing.
